What are the eligibility requirements for Google for Nonprofits?
To be eligible for Google for Nonprofits, organisations must be nonprofit charitable organisations in good standing in their country and be verified as a nonprofit organisation by Google for Nonprofits' validation partner Percent. View country-specific eligibility guidelines here.

I don’t have access to my organisation’s Google for Nonprofits account, but I need access. How can I request access?

I requested a Google for Nonprofits account, but I was told that my organisation wasn't eligible. Why not?

How long does this process usually take?
It generally takes about three to five business days. Google's partner Percent needs to verify your organisation and that you're affiliated with it.
You'll get an email as soon as your organisation has been verified. You can also sign in to Google for Nonprofits to check the status of your request.

I got an email saying that my organisation is eligible for Google for Nonprofits. How do I start using Google products?
Once your organisation has been verified, you can activate the Google products that suit your organisation’s needs. Go to the Help Centre for more details about how to get Google Workspace for Nonprofits, Ad Grants, YouTube Non-profit Programme and Google Maps Platform credits.

I am a nonprofit school, healthcare organisation or government entity. Am I eligible for Google for Nonprofits?
No. At this time, your organisation is not eligible for Google for Nonprofits. If you are a school, child care centre, academic institution or university, take a look at Google for Education.

I am a US 501(c)(3) organisation with charity status through a group exemption provided by a parent organisation. Am I eligible for Google for Nonprofits?
If your organisation has charity status through a group exemption provided by a parent organisation, you may still be eligible for Google for Nonprofits. You must be a separate branch covered through a group exemption and Google must be able to verify from public documents that your organisation is covered by a qualified parent organisation through a group exemption.
To get started, sign in to Google for Nonprofits and enter your parent organisation's EIN number. If there are other branch organisations using the same EIN for Google for Nonprofits, you'll be asked to create a new application. When you do, make sure that you click 'Start new application'. Don't request ownership of any branch organisation that you don't recognise.

Is my fiscally-sponsored organisation eligible for Google for Nonprofits?
No, fiscally-sponsored organisations don't meet the eligibility guidelines for Google for Nonprofits.
